The KTA exists to encourage friendships between schools, sports clubs and social groups in the two towns.

In addition to organised groups arranging exchanges, members of the KTA also arrange visits between Châtelaillon-Plage and Knebworth each year – one year we go to France and the next they come here. This is usually a 3-4 night trip, or over a long weekend.

Visits have also been organised between the football, tennis and golf clubs. Choir, orchestra and theatre groups have also formed friendships and visits have taken place.

We  receive little or no funding our local Council, so all of our activities are self-funded. Which is why we organise a wide range of events and activities in Knebworth for local members to meet up and enjoy being part of the 'twinning'.
